Altar Servers:
Most of the altar servers at St. Mary's are young people. Boys and girls must be in the third grade or older to serve in this ministry. Servers are asked to select a Mass time that their family attends on a regular basis so that there attendance and service will be consistent. If interested in becoming an Altar Server, please contact us.

Eucharistic Ministers:
This ministry is dedicated to the distribution of the precious body and blood during the sacrifice of the Mass. The members of this ministry are allowed to choose a particular Mass time they would like to participate in. Renewal and a training session are held at least once a year. If interested in becoming a Eucharistic Minister, please contact us.

Lectors:
Proclaiming the Word of God to the congregation is a unique way one can participate in the Sunday Mass, weekday Masses, and Holy Days. Announcing events prior to the beginning of the celebration of the Mass and leading the Prayers of the Faithful are also the responsibility of the Lector. Renewal and a training session are held once a year. If interested in becoming a Lector, please contact us.

Ushers:
Greet people, assist with seating, take up collections, and help where needed during the Masses. If interested in becoming an usher, please contact us.

Stephen Ministry:
Stephen Ministry is a confidential one-to-one caring ministry, in which a seed of hope is planted in a person who is going through a difficult time in their life. God is at the center of that relationship, to bring hope, comfort, understanding and empathy to the person who is hurting, and does not know where to turn. If you or someone you know could benefit from a Stephen Minister, you may call the Parish Office at (586) 784-5966 or Karen Klapatch at (586) 784-3033. *Important* - If you are calling about someone else, you must first have their permission.

Choir:
Young men and women in high school and older may participate in the liturgy by sharing their voices during the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Rehearsals begin on Wednesday, September 19th at 7:00 PM If you are interested or would like further information, please contact us.
